Grass Cabinetry, Inc. is an independent cabinet manufacturer. We are dedicated to building functional wood and bamboo products that enhance the health and quality of life of the homeowner by utilizing the principles of green building and integrated design. Grass cabinetry uses only sustainable, reusable and recyclable materials that are traced to their point of origin and have been found to be environmentally and socially responsible. We are dedicated to building a high-quality cabinet made of only the finest materials and components.

Grass Cabinetry was formed based on the tenets of:

• Sustainability- the materials used in the construction of any cabinetry product should be renewable and provide the smallest amount of impact to its source as possible.
  
• Recyclable- all components and materials used in the construction of any cabinetry product should be capable of being recycled at the end of its useful life; or reused until that useful life has been fulfilled.
  
• Quality- a quality product, consisting of quality materials is the noblest use of those materials. A quality cabinet does not need to be replaced and is therefore the most responsible use of its components.
  
• Ergonomic- the cabinetry should be friendly towards its user. Not only should the cabinetry compliment the user and their habits, it should also do them no harm and be easily customizable and reconfigurable to their changing needs. A cabinet like this is a cabinet for life.
  
• Efficient- in order to reduce the environmental footprint of our structures, sometimes it is necessary to minimize their size. Smaller spaces demand more efficient use. This applies additionally to our materials, which shall be used to their smallest workable increment, thereby reducing waste.
  
• Social responsibility- each component and material shall be traced to its point of origin. Any material or component harvested, manufactured or procured in a distasteful or harmful way shall not be used, nor the behavior supported.
  
• “Cabinetry for Life”- means that our products integrate with the users habits and lifestyle; will last a lifetime; and are made with the awareness that the well being of life on our planet relies upon the way we conduct our affairs.
